adhoc “Paradise Loft”

Toronto/Manchester group adhoc call their music “bi-coastal R&B,” which makes sense for a group that seems to be from both sides of the Atlantic.  It’s also an appropriate description for their latest single, “Paradise Loft,” which is the kind of song you want to listen to when driving along any coast.  The song’s lyrics confront feelings of “monotheistic guilt,” celebrating the more guilty pleasures of life.  Despite its cynicism, “Paradise Loft” is a super chill single that makes falling in love with the devil seem like it’s not such a bad idea after all.
